Don't give the player flak for wanting their game to not be arbitrarily held back by something as fundamental as poorly implemented controls. Some people literally cannot for health reasons. Some people hate the limitations of using sticks over a mouse. some people find all controllers to be less comfortable than K+M. Some people don't own comfortable controllers. That's the fault of a bad port and switching to a controller is only ignoring the problem, not fixing it. Lots of different actions are forced to be on the same key for no good reason. Why do so many people want to blame the player instead of acknowledging that a flawed system is flawed? Some games are just ass with certain types of controls, like for example i would never play a RTS with a controller.

I absolutely hate 2-button press actions and layered key menus these are ass to use on PC in this type of action game.

They need to hire a UI expert that instead of just emulating KB+M button presses to controller button. They didn't bother improving too much for world which has slightly less jank control scheme for ranged controls.

Overall very disappointing UI and keybinds for PC.

You also have to reassign these buttons through mouse software to keyboard keys since the game doesn't natively support horizontal side scroll buttons. RT+LT is aimed wirebug in stead of the above which are overhead and forward wirebug. Unfortunately there's no in-game keybind for RT+LT, which i assume most PC players want on M+KB. I tie the RT+LMB and RT+RMB to 'q' and tab' respectively for melee controls. It super frustrating with this design despite the fact that you can change the mouse wheel 1 settings ammo/coating. As far as i know this is shenanigans unfortunately no way to change this action progress.Īmmo/coating on ranged weaponry are hard tied to pressing down ctrl before you can choose your ammo/coating type. Radial mouse menu is hard tied to having to hold 'ctrl' by default. If you really need the 2nd, 3rd, 4th row of item/action bars i recommend just leaving them to default F keys unless you have some fancy keyboard with macro keys or just have the item bar toggle key. You should set keyboard radial menu to instant press instead of press while displaying item bar view. You can assign mouse wheel settings for item bar for mouse wheel 1 settings.
